DPR Korea women football team defeated the Italian women soccer team thru the penalty shoot out after the game ended with 2-2, then 3-3 after extra time.

While another Asian out fit Thais women lose to African Nigeria women 0-3 in the placement stage to secure the 8th place.

During the grouping stage, DPR Korea top the Group A with 9 points and on the other hand, Thais women ended with 3rd place in Group B
